The Reception
The reception will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge Massachusetts, along the Charles River. The ballroom is on the 14th floor and offers spectacular views of Boston. The skyline shown is the exact view from the ballroom and its balconies. Keep your fingers crossed for a beautiful clear day!
The Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner and dancing from 6:00 to 11:30 p.m.
Directions from Goddard Chapel: Exit the visitors parking lot taking a left onto Packard Avenue. Proceed down the hill through the first stop sign. Go straight through the flashing light/stop sign. At the first solid light at the bottom of Packard Avenue take a right onto Broadway. Go straight through the next two traffic lights. At the third light (Foodmaster will be on your right) take a left onto Route 16/Alewife Brook Parkway. Stay in the left lane and go through the two (sometimes) flashing lights. Move into the left turn only lane and take a left turn at the next traffic light onto Massachusetts Avenue. Proceed straight on Massachusetts Avenue for the next 2 miles. You are now entering Harvard Square. Stay in your right hand lane and continue straight, following Massachusetts Avenue into Harvard Square. At this point you will want to stay to the right and continue straight towards the Charles Hotel. Do NOT follow signs for Massachusetts Avenue. Go straight through the stop sign. At the light (with the Charles hotel directly in front of you) take a left turn onto Eliot Street and stay in the left hand lane. You will then make a right at the next light on to JFK Street. JFK is two lanes so it will be easier to make the right turn from the left lane on Eliot street to prepare yourself to make a left hand turn onto Memorial Drive at the next traffic light. Once you take the left onto Memorial Drive, continue down Memorial drive for 1.7 miles. At this point you will come to a traffic light at a 3 way intersection – there is no bridge to your right. This is the entrance to the Hyatt and you should see it on your left. Take the left and then take the immediate left into the Hyatt driveway. The parking garage is immediately to your right and parking is available at a discounted rate. A discount stamp will be available at the cocktail hour for your convenience.
From I-93N: Take exit 26 Storrow Drive/Cambridge, stay left. Proceed 3/4 mile to first exit on left, Government Center/ Kendall Square. Stay right. Turn right at stop sign. Proceed across Longfellow Bridge. Take first right onto Memorial Drive. Proceed 1 mile. At light, turn right on Amesbury Street to hotel entrance.
From I-90: Exit 18 Allston/Cambridge. Stay to the right towards Cambridge/Somerville. (This is a very confusing intersection.) Second right onto Memorial Drive. Proceed 0.7 mile. At the light turn right onto Amesbury Street to hotel entrance.
